Professional Examination Scheme

Membership of the Direct Marketing Association of Nigeria is by examination conducted by the Institute of Direct Marketing Association of Nigeria. Only registered students who meet with the minimum requirements are eligible to take the professional examination.

There are four modules of the examinations. Students are expected to pass a module before moving to another. The modules are:

MODULE I

  • Economics
  • Business Law
  • Quantitative Analysis
  • Business Acounting
  • Principles of Marketing

MODULE II

  • Fundamentals of Direct Marketing
  • Integrated Marketing Communication
  • Management Information System
  • Business Management
  • Direct Mail/Catalogue Marketing

MODULE III

    Business-to-Business Marketing
  • Database Marketing
  • Distribution & Logistics Management
  • Direct Marketing Research
  • Consumer Behaviour

MODULE IV

  • Customer Relationship Marketing
  • Cyber Marketing
  • Tele-Marketing
  • International Direct Marketing
  • Financial Services Marketing

Examination Periods

The Professional examination of the Association is written TWICE Annually in the moinths of MAY and NOVEMBER throughout the federation.

Registration for MAY examination closes on 31st of March while registration for NOVEMBER examination ends on 30th of September of every year.
